Need help with NextDrop, or found something wrong? Email informerfrk@gmail.com and you will get a reply from a person. Including your app version โ shown at the bottom of the Settings screen โ makes it much quicker to work out what happened.
Alerts are not arriving
- Check notifications are allowed for NextDrop in your device Settings.
- Open the app's Settings screen and confirm rain alerts are switched on.
- Check your quiet hours. Nothing is delivered inside that window.
- Check your intensity threshold. If it is set to Heavy, light drizzle will not alert you.
- Alerts require an active subscription or trial. If your plan has ended, alerts stop.
The forecast looks wrong
NextDrop uses minute-level nowcast data, which is at its most accurate within the next hour and close to your location. Further out, and in places with thinner radar coverage, it becomes less certain. The Models tab shows what the major forecast models say and tells you when they disagree, rather than presenting a single number with more confidence than it deserves.
Managing your subscription
NextDrop offers a 7-day free trial, then a monthly or yearly plan. Billing is handled entirely by Apple โ we never see your payment details.
- To cancel or change your plan, open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your access continues until the current period ends.
- Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
- Refunds are handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Restoring a purchase
Signed in with the same Apple Account, open the app and tap Restore purchases on the subscription screen. If it still does not unlock, email us the ID shown at the bottom of that screen and we can look it up directly.
Your data
What the app sends and why is set out in full in the Privacy Policy. To have your device removed from our servers, turn off alerts in the app, or email us and we will delete it.
